  • Please let us know if there is any kind of allergies.
  • In order to secure your place at the tour, you must have booked and payed for the tour up to 5 days in advance.
  • Cancellations and refunds are acceptable, up to 6 days before the tour.
  • Eat and walk maintains the right to cancel or transfer a tour, refunding all of the sum payed.

Accessibility

These are our Accessibility conditions for participating in a tour. In these Accessibility conditions, when we say the “EaW” we mean the proprietorship enterprise with the distinctive title “eatandwalk gastronomic walks”.
Although EaW will always make every effort to ensure safe completion of walking tours and to provide its customers with a pleasant excursion, it will not be liable for the personal safety of participants, or for the safety of personal items, nor for unforeseen events and incidents that EaW cannot control, prevent or avoid, including (but not limited to) accidents, thefts and illnesses during the walking tour. Each participant shall be fully responsible for his/her personal health, medical needs and safety.
We advise you to check your insurance contract in order to determine whether you are covered and to clarify what your travel insurance covers in the case of trips abroad.
The payment of the fee means that you unreservedly agree that you are healthy enough to be able to participate in EaW programs and that you have informed EaW of any special medical, physical or nutritional requirements that might affect your participation in the programs as announced by EaW. You should be aware that medical care and service facilities abroad may be different from those you are accustomed to and that they may be inadequate for your treatment. Please ensure that you have taken all the necessary medication you may require with you when travelling abroad. EaW is not in the position to guarantee the availability of special accommodation or appropriate access for persons with special needs within our programs. Please contact us to discuss any circumstances which might affect your trip or that of other participants in the program.
EaW reserves the right to refuse participation to any person whose health may prevent or disrupt any of the programs, at its absolute discretion.

Dietary Restrictions and allergies

Please contact us to discuss any allergies, dietary requirements or restrictions you may have. Given the nature of the programs, we are not in the position to guarantee that all nutritional requirements will be met; however, we will make every effort to meet your needs. EaW should be informed of any nutritional allergy or any dietary restrictions you may have before the commencement of the program.

Participant Release of Liability

We would like to emphasize that we hereby presume that you unreservedly accept that EaW is not owned or managed by any persons who have any relations whatsoever with the facilities of suppliers, accommodations or the services you have chosen. Each individual participant hereby agrees that EaW and its representatives shall not be held responsible for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity whatsoever, due to default by hotels, carriers, restaurants or other contracted services that EaW secures for participants.
It is also emphasized that we presume that you unreservedly accept that EaWprovides the opportunity to participate in cooking activities or provides the option to make use of means of transportation and that these activities carry inherent dangers. Your participation of itself in these activities, as organized by EaW or by its employees, associates or suppliers, shall mean that you agree to the following:

  1. Your participation in cooking programs carries risks and may cause accidents, either to yourself or by you to third parties.
  2. Specifically, risks and accidents may result from actions and/or negligence on the part of EaW or of any of its employees, associates or suppliers. These risks and accidents may also be caused by actions and/or negligence on the part of participants in the program.

You shall be responsible for adherence to the rules and the laws of the areas you are visiting. The rights and privacy of the rest of the participants in the program in which you are taking part shall be respected by all. EaW reserves the right to refuse the participation of a certain person, before or even during the program, if it is deemed that such participation may pose a risk to the safety and comfort of the other participants.

You agree to grant EaW global, royalty-free and full license to use your photographs, video clips or digital pictures in the advertisement of its programs and/or for commercial purposes.

By reserving a place in any of these programs, you shall have automatically accepted the terms mentioned herein, confirm that you have fully understood them and have agreed to all of them.

Terms of Use

These are our terms and conditions for use of the website, which you may access in several ways, including but not limited to the World Wide Web via eatandwalk.gr, mobile phone and RSS feeds. In these terms and conditions, when we say the “EW Site” we mean the digital information network operated by the proprietorship enterprise with the distinctive title “eatandwalk gastronomic walks”, regardless of how you access the network, whether you access those via a EW Site or a third party site. However you access the EW Site, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. Use of material appearing on the EW Site

Your use of the EW Site is for your own personal and noncommercial use only. You acknowledge that, as between eatandwalk gastronomic walks and you, eatandwalk gastronomic walks is the sole owner of all content on the EW Site, including, without limitation, all applicable copyrights, patents, trademarks, trade secrets, trade names, logos, and other intellectual property rights thereto, as well as text, images, graphics, logos, audio, video and other material appearing on the EW Site (“eatandwalk gastronomic walks content”). To the extent permitted at law, we do not accept any responsibility for any statement in the EW Content. For the avoidance of confusion, we will not be liable for any loss caused as a result of your doing, or not doing, anything as a result of viewing, reading or listening to the EW Content or any part of it. You can access other sites via links from the EW Site. These sites are not under our control and we are not responsible in any way for any of their contents. We give no warranties of any kind concerning the EW Site or the EW Content. In particular, we do not warrant that the EW Site or any of its contents is virus free. You must take your own precautions in this respect as we accept no responsibility for any infection by virus or other contamination or by anything which has destructive properties. Any revised terms and conditions will be applicable at the time of posting on the EW Site. These terms and conditions are governed by Greek law and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Greek courts in Athens.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless eatandwalk gastronomic walks, its parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, and employees from any and all claims, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including, but not limited to, attorneys’ fees and expenses, arising out a breach by you or any user of your account of these terms and conditions or privacy policy or arising out of a breach of your obligations, representation and warranties under these terms and conditions.

8. No waiver

Our failure to insist upon or enforce any provision of these terms of service shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right of eatandwalk gastronomic walks.

9. Additional disclaimers

Visitors to the EW Site agree that their use of the EW Site is at their own sole risk. The EW Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied including but not limited to: (i) any warranties concerning the availability, accuracy, appropriateness, reliability, timeliness, or usefulness of the content of the EW Site; and (ii) any warranties of title, warranty of non-infringement, or warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Eatandwalk gastronomic walks also makes no representations and warranties as to any linked sites and eatandwalk gastronomic walks has no liability or responsibility with respect to your use of such sites. We use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the information contained on the Website is correct at time of being published. We reserve the right to make alterations.

Minimum of 2 guests required to proceed with scheduled tours. We reserve the right to refund ticket, if that minimum is not met and tour is cancelled.

All content published on the Website is intended as information only and does not in any way constitute advice of any nature. Your use and reliance on the content made available on the Website shall be at your own risk and we shall not be liable whatsoever for any loss which you may incur as a result of or in connection with your use and reliance of such content.

Links to third party websites may from time to time appear on the Website. Such third party websites are not our responsibility and we accept no responsibility for the availability, suitability, reliability or content of such third party websites and does not necessarily endorse the views expressed within them.

10. Limitation of liability

You acknowledge and agree that, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, in no event will Eatandwalk gastronomic walks, including, without limitation, their respective officers, directors, employees, successors and assigns, be liable to you or any other party for any direct or indirect loss, damage, cost, expense or liability of any kind (“Loss”) arising in any way out of or in connection with the availability, use, reliance on, or inability to use the EW site, including (without limitation): (I) damages for business interruption, loss of business and other profits, loss of programs, cost of replacing equipment or software or loss of records, information or data, loss of use of data, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, loss of customers, loss of or damage to reputation, loss of capital, downtime costs, loss under or in relation to any other contract, or loss of anticipated savings or benefits; (ii) any indirect, special, exemplary, punitive, incidental or consequential loss; or (iii) any loss attributable to errors, omissions, or other inaccuracies in the WE site. The exclusion of liability in this section 15 applies even if eatandwalk gastronomic walks shall have been advised of the possibility of such loss. Because some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for particular kinds of loss, in such states or jurisdictions, eatandwalk gastronomic walks Liability shall be limited to the extent permitted by law thereby minimizing eatandwalk gastronomic walks’s liability to you to the lowest amount that applicable law permits.

11. Orders and Payment

The published price of the Ticket (“Price”) includes any applicable taxes, but is exclusive of booking or collection fees. You shall be notified of the booking and/or collection fee on the payment page of the Website

Due to the nature of the business, you acknowledge and agree that the Price may be subject to change and variation from time to time. Any changes in the Price shall not be applicable to you once you have received Order Confirmation from us, save in the case of an obvious error.

In order to book and purchase Tickets to one of our Tours, you shall be required to follow the process on our Website and complete the relevant details we require to confirm purchase of your selected Tickets via the Website (“Order”). Group bookings for Tickets shall be treated the same as individual bookings. You will be asked to provide customary billing information such as name, billing address and credit card information either to us or our payment processor. You agree to pay for your Order by one of the methods described on the Website. You hereby authorise the collection of such amounts using the method selected by you through the Website, either directly by us or indirectly, via our payment processor. If you are directed to our payment processor, you may be subject to terms and conditions governing use of their service. Please review such terms and conditions before using the processing services.

Your Order constitutes an offer to us to buy Tickets. All Orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an e-mail subject to the Order (“Order Confirmation”). The contract between us will only be formed when we send you the Order Confirmation (“Contract”).

It is your responsibility to check the Tickets that are subject to your Order and we are under no obligation to rectify any mistakes once the Contract has been formed in accordance with the above clause.

You are responsible for ensuring your e-mail address is accurate. We are not responsible for Tickets sent to incorrect e-mail addresses input by you.

12. Delivery

You may not be admitted to the Tour without presenting a valid Ticket. We shall not be liable for any failure by you to show valid Tickets.

13. Refunds and Exchanges

Unless otherwise expressly stated in these Terms, you will be able to cancel an Order after it has been accepted by Us, you are entitled to a refund for any Tickets purchased by you, up until 48 hours before the tour starts, even if you are unable to attend the Tour. The cancellation rights contained in the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 do not apply to the sale of Tickets.

We will notify you if a Tour is cancelled or rescheduled, but you acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to ensure you have entered the correct contact details so we can notify you. We will not be liable for any losses you incur as a result of supplying us with incorrect contact details (e.g. e-mail address or mobile number).

14. Conduct on a Tour

Our Tours may include admissions to third party venues, including restaurants and drinking venues (“Venue”). You shall comply with all policies, procedures and safety announcements in force on the Tour and at any Venue, including any security procedures in place from time to time. It your responsibility to notify Venues and your assigned guide of any allergies or dietary requirements. We shall not be liable for any loss or injury suffered by you caused by a Venue.

You are responsible for arranging all transportation to and from the Tour. We reserve the right to refuse you admission without refund to any Tour or eject you from a Tour on account of your late arrival, being (or appearing to be) under any specified age, abusive, threatening, drunken or other antisocial behaviour (including smoking in no smoking areas), carrying offensive weapons or illegal substances.

Tickets ordered through the Website are only for your personal use and that of your party. We reserve the right to cancel Tickets purchased if there is, or if we suspect there is, any resale, purported resale or attempted resale of Tickets. This includes but is not limited to Tickets being resold via internet auction sites. The holder of a resold Ticket may be refused entry or rejected from the Tour without refund.
