Iokasti Foundouka is a chef, architect, and photographer.
She was born and raised in Greece, but has traveled and lived abroad since she was young.
What most influenced her culinary style were her studies in Italy, her travels in Northern India and her childhood growing up in a small farm.
Through her travels she was introduced to the exciting flavors of the East, while she remained faithful to the mild flavors of the
Mediterranea and the respect to the prime material and the cultivation practices.
She has worked in numerous restaurants with Greek and international cuisine from 2007 until 2017, when she opened the first patisserie in Thessaloniki, specializing in cheesecake.
Since 2021, she has been working at Marmita – Cooking Lab, organizing cooking classes and food tastings for both Greeks and foreigner visitors.
